Waste collection calendar

To find out the dates of the various collections, you refer to the printed calendar distributed by mail each December or can consult the online calendar. You can also pick up a printed copy in municipal buildings.

2026 Collection Schedule – Part Two

The 2026 collection schedule for the period from June through December will be distributed to all households starting the week of May 11, 2026.

As a reminder, an initial schedule for the months of January through May was distributed last fall. At that time, we informed you that a second schedule would follow in spring 2026, and that it would outline the main changes resulting from the revision of our waste collection services.

Key changes starting in June:

1) Biweekly waste collection during the summer:

- for single-family homes and buildings with 8 units or fewer.

2) Waste collection moved to Wednesday (instead of Monday):

- for single-family homes and buildings with 8 units or fewer in Sector 1;
- for buildings with 9 units or more and industrial, commercial, and institutional (ICI) properties in Sectors 1 to 4.

Electronic version

An electronic version (PDF) is available if you wish to view the calendar online or print it yourself:

Downloadable version

By creating an account on the Saint-Lambert Citizen Space, you can access your personalized collection calendar based on your address. You can also set reminders that you'll receive the day before your collections, and download your calendar to your electronic agenda. Please note that this service is only available for single-family residences and buildings of 8 units or less.

Mandatory sorting of materials

It is now mandatory to properly sort waste materials and to participate in all types of collections (By-law 2021-189). Each bin has its purpose. Sort properly and throw away less!

Was your bin forgotten?

Collectors can pick up waste materials between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. If they still have not come after this time, please leave your bin at the curb and notify the Environment Management division at 450-672-4444 or submit a request via our online platform. Thank you for your collaboration!

Your bin is broken or needs repair?

The Ville de Saint-Lambert offers a repair or replacement service for recyclables and organics bins.

Please note that garbage bins are not maintained by the City. It is the owner's responsibility to repair or replace them.

Once the request has been completed, you will receive an email prior to the service visit. You must leave your bin visible and accessible to the repairman on your property, and make sure it is clearly visible from the street.
