This year, we’re celebrating in style… and with great emotion!
The Saint-Lambert Days are back from August 21 to 23 on Victoria Avenue for its 50th edition. Five decades of gatherings, music, laughter, shared memories—and above all, a community that continues to come together year after year.
General information
The sidewalk sale and most activities will take place according to the following schedule:
- Friday, August 21: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (midnight)
- Saturday, August 22: 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (midnight)
- Sunday, August 23: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Dogs are allowed on site.

ENTRE-NOUS : si on chantait encore | Friday, August 21, 9 p.m.: With Jason McNally, it’s 100 songs in 100 minutes. A real nonstop extravaganza in the style of the TV show "En direct de l’univers".
Étienne Drapeau: Le show LATINO | Saturday, August 22, 7 p.m.: The LATINO Show is a musical journey through the most vibrant Latin rhythms of the Caribbean and Latin America!
RHAPSODY: Queen Classics with Yvan Pedneault | Saturday, August 22, 9 p.m.: A vibrant tribute to rock music featuring Yvan Pedneault, who revisits Queen’s greatest hits.
Canine Trick Show | Sunday, August 23, 1 p.m.: Impressive tricks and talented dogs. A dynamic show that will amaze the whole family!
Preville Big Band | Sunday, August 23, 4 p.m.: A musical journey through the greatest hits of the last 50 years.

The bar section offers you a friendly place at the heart of all the action where you can relax and enjoy a cool drink from a broad selection of beverages.

Line dancing lessons for all

Lorraine Walker dance lessons for all will give you a chance to try out a variety of rhythms such as western, cha-cha, merengue, triple swing and fox-trot.

ENTRE NOUS, si on chantait encore... is a tribute to Quebec music from the 1920s to the present day.
Local songs are narrated and performed by four singers and four musicians who are passionate about showcasing our beautiful MUSICAL CULTURE.
From Beau Dommage to Mitsou, from Harmonium to Marjo, from Les Colocs to Plume Latraverse, from La Bolduc to Bleu Jeans Bleu.
This dynamic show takes the form of medleys that seamlessly span the eras, each representing a chapter of our MUSICAL HISTORY.

Founded in 1960, The South Shore Saints is a Lambert barbershop-style choir that will thrill you with its a capella (unaccompanied) adaptations of traditional folk and contemporary songs.

Le show LATINO is a musical journey through the most vibrant Latin rhythms of the Caribbean and Latin America! Join Étienne Drapeau and his Latin musicians and dancers as you’re swept away by Cuban salsa and Puerto Rican reggaeton, along with bachata and merengue from the Dominican Republic.
Get ready to embark on a journey to the heart of the world’s rhythms… with Étienne Drapeau and Le show LATINO!

SHOW - RHAPSODY: QUEEN Classics with Yvan Pedneault

In 2016, Pedneault returned to Quebec and captured the attention of thousands of viewers with his rendition of “We Are the Champions” on the popular TV show *La Voix*, where he made his way to the finals as a member of Marc Dupré’s team. Yvan now delights audiences with a show filled with songs that have stood the test of time. QUEEN’s greatest hits, combined with his infectious energy, are sure to get the audience moving as they relive the glory days of this band that left an indelible mark on rock history.

Join the legendary Saint-Lambert corn roast hosted by the Club Richelieu Saint-Lambert. A friendly and community-building event where families and friends gather to enjoy fresh corn in a warm and festive atmosphere. Limited seating.
Performance by the group Entre temps

“Entre temps” is a family band from Lambertois made up of Bastien (the dad), on guitar and vocals, Léo on ukulele, and Juliette on vocals. Blending folk and rock, their style evolves with each song they perform. The band is sure to surprise you with its authenticity and zest for life.

A Bit of History...
Origins of the Event
According to Jack Dunfield, a city council member from 1967 to 1974, the Saint-Lambert Days began in 1972* as a result of the city council’s desire to restore harmony among residents, who were then divided by a referendum on the construction of Champlain College on the site of the Seaway Park.
A meeting was therefore organized, bringing together representatives from all of the city’s organizations to determine which activities each would be willing to sponsor.
Among the activities organized were sports events, dance parties, concerts, bingo, a corn-on-the-cob festival, a pancake breakfast, and even a large ecumenical religious ceremony!
The merchants’ big street sale, which had been held on Victoria Avenue since the late 1960s, joined the festivities the very next year.
* The Saint-Lambert Days were created in 1972, but we will celebrate the 50th anniversary in 2026 since, in the past, four editions were not held for various reasons (renovation of Victoria Avenue, pandemic, etc.)
50 Years of Activities and Discoveries
In the early years, the festival officially opened with a speech by the sitting mayor and the release of pigeons!
Over the past 50 years, we’ve seen just about everything:
- from bed races to amusement park rides;
- from equestrian competitions to disaster drills
- from the circus to the antique fair;
- from bridge to skateboarding;
- from classic cars to parades featuring marching bands and floats;
- from a bike tour to admire the flower-decorated houses to a historic bus tour of the city;
- from an open-air city council meeting to a one-day council session with young people!
An event that extends beyond downtown
The area covered by the Saint-Lambert Days wasn’t limited to Victoria Avenue and its cross streets. Did you know that a shuttle from La Ronde transported residents between Seaway Park and Place du Village?
This made it possible to host sports tournaments and larger-scale activities: kite flying, helicopter rides, and hot-air balloon flights.
Beach volleyball, meanwhile, took place only once, on Elm Street, thanks to the impressive amount of sand that had been brought there!
Moments of Togetherness for Everyone
Throughout these four days of annual festivities, Lambertois residents danced to rhythms from all corners of the world: disco nights, Bavarian dances, line dancing, street dancing, merengue, and Latin rhythms.
Professional artists, amateur members of cultural organizations, and students from nearby schools also performed on the many stages: dance and puppet shows, jazz concerts, big band, barbershop, sacred music, symphony orchestra, and rock music.
To recharge, the culinary offerings from local businesses and associations have always played an important role: lunches, brunches, BBQs, spaghetti dinners, and the traditional corn roast, which—after a few years’ absence—is back for this 50th edition!
