PUBLIC NOTICE
REQUEST FOR MINOR EXEMPTIONS
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal council of the City of Saint-Lambert will rule on an application for minor exemptions to Zoning Bylaw 2024-215 for the property mentioned below at its regular meeting to be held on Monday, 19 January 2026, at 7:00 p.m. at the Multipurpose Centre, located at 81 Hooper Street in Saint-Lambert.

Nature of the request
Front setback encroachment:
This minor exemption request seeks to authorize the development of a parking area encroaching 77% (3.45 m) into the front setback, which is 27% (1.22 m) more than the maximum encroachment allowed. This contravenes the prescribed standard authorising a maximum encroachment of 50% (2.25 m) into the front setback for a parking area.
Manoeuvring on the property:
The application seeks to authorize the development of a parking area where manoeuvring would not take place entirely on the property, thus allowing vehicles to enter and exit in reverse. This contravenes the current standard, which requires that, for all uses other than single-family, two-family or three-family dwellings, parking manoeuvres be carried out entirely on the property, in order to allow access and exit in forward motion.
Provisions concerned:
Section 8.1.4, paragraphs 3 and 7 of Zoning Bylaw 2024-215.
Consequently, any interested party may be heard by the council regarding this request at the regular meeting to be held on 19 January 2026.
