PUBLIC NOTICE
REQUEST FOR MINOR EXEMPTION
PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal council of the City of Saint-Lambert
will rule on a request for a minor exemption to Zoning Bylaw 2024-215 for the
property mentioned below at its regular meeting to be held on Monday, 19 January 2026
at 7:00 p.m. at the Multifunctional Centre, located at 81 Hooper Street in Saint-Lambert.

Nature of the request:
This request for a minor exemption is to authorize cedar shingle siding
(original cladding) covering up to 100% of the facades of the
new building. This contravenes the regulations stipulating that a main building
of three storeys or less in a residential zone must have 70% of its facade clad in
natural stone or clay brick.
Provision in question:
▪ Section 4.3.5, paragraph 1, subparagraph 1 of Zoning Bylaw 2024-215.
Consequently, any interested party may be heard by the council regarding this
request at the regular meeting to be held on 19 January 2026.
