Série Memento : The Ville de Saint-Lambert invites the public to the opening of an exhibition of works created in creative workshops at the library.

The Ville de Saint-Lambert invites residents to discover the works created during the Série Memento workshops on Thursday, November 20, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., at the library (490 Mercille Avenue).

Designed for seniors, this series of eight workshops offered this fall at the library created a space for exploring poetry and creating zines, small publications combining text, images, and collages.

A true creative laboratory, the project designed by artist and cultural mediator Pascale André invites participants to discover poetry in all its forms, even the most unexpected. From object-poems to collective poezines, through writing and visual arts, the experience became an allegorical journey from the center of the self to the outside world, pushing the boundaries of the comfort zone and encouraging the emergence of personal poetry.

Each work tells its own story and is part of a larger narrative: that of life, where every experience becomes poetry.

The opening will allow the public to admire the works resulting from this artistic exploration and to salute the talent of the participants during an inspiring moment where art and words meet.
