Citizen card

Citizen card

The citizen card is required to:

  • register for recreational activities and day camps;
  • use certain library services;
  • obtain a membership to the indoor pool, tennis courts, and pickleball courts;
  • reserve a sports facility or room;
  • reserve a package for a children's birthday party.
Each member of a family (child or adult) must have their own card to register for an activity or subscribe to a service. The card is valid for a period of two years. If you already have a citizen card (beginning with the number 55623), your file number will never change. However, make sure your card has not expired. If it has, you will need to renew it.

Obtaining a citizen card

Online application

You can apply for a citizen card online for yourself and your children by creating an account on the Saint-Lambert Citizen Space. Your digital card will become accessible once a member of the team has validated your file. Please allow 48 business hours.

You will then have access to your card at any time via the Citizen Space or by downloading it to the digital wallet on your mobile device (Google Wallet or Apple Pay). The Citizen Space will also allow you to manage your card and those of your children and renew them online.

If you already have a citizen card or card number (beginning with 55623), you can create an account in the Citizen Space and link your card to your account. This will allow you to enjoy all the benefits of the digital card.

Apply in person

Go to the recreation center or library with proof of residence and photo ID. A member of staff will open a file for you and give you a physical citizen card or card number.

If you wish, you can then create an account in the Citizen Space and link your number to your account. This will allow you to enjoy all the benefits of the digital card.

Renewing your card

You can renew your card via the Citizen Space. Your citizen card must be linked to your account. Once your card is linked, you will receive a reminder email 30 days before your citizen card expires. At that time, you can resubmit your proof of residence and renew your card.

You can also renew your card in person at the recreation center or library. If your file has expired, you will be asked to provide proof of residence and photo ID.
