Outdoor pools

There are two outdoor pools in the city of Saint-Lambert at Seaway and Alexandra parks.

The Alexandra Park pool will be closed for the 2025 season due to renovation work. For more information, visit the Info-works page.

Children under 8 must be accompanied by an adult in the water.

Swimming pools are generally open from late June to late August. In case of bad weather, the City reserves the right to close the outdoor pools.

Schedule

Seaway Park pool (430 Riverside Street)

Regular season (Until August 24)

  • Monday to Friday : 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. (residents and memberships only)
  • Everyday : 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.*

*Starting in August, the pool closes at 7 p.m. to ensure swimmers' safety. Under the Regulation respecting safety in public baths, an outdoor pool used after sunset must be equipped with a lighting system providing a minimum of 10 decaluxes to allow visibility underwater. Since the Seaway pool does not have such lighting, it is difficult for us to extend its opening hours beyond 7 p.m. in August, as the sun sets earlier and visibility of the bottom of the pool quickly becomes reduced for lifeguards.

Cost

Admission to all outdoor pools is free for residents, with proof of residence. To find out the cost for a non-resident, consult the Indoor pool page.

Everyone must obey the rules to ensure users’ full and safe enjoyment of the services offered:

  • Bathing caps are strongly recommended. Hair longer than the nape of the neck must be tied back.
  • Swim suits are required. The fabric must be designed for pool use. Lycra-style Rashguard T-shirts are acceptable.
  • It is strictly prohibited to wear undergarments under your swim suit.

If you have any other questions, be sure to ask the pool staff. Enjoy your swim!
