Family and Senior Policy: Join the Discussion Groups!

As part of the process of renewing its Family and Seniors Policy, the Ville de Saint-Lambert is looking for candidates interested in participating in focus groups.

These groups will follow up on the survey conducted in recent weeks among the general population and will provide an opportunity to explore the 12 topics covered in greater depth:

  1. Recreation
  2. Citizen participation
  3. Social cohesion and inclusion
  4. Communication and information
  5. Safety
  6. Transportation and mobility
  7. Housing and living environment
  8. Public spaces
  9. Environment
  10. Educational success and school retention
  11. Employment and economy
  12. Overall health

The groups will be led by a representative from the independent organization Espace MUNI. Participants will discuss the strengths of the community as well as the obstacles and areas for improvement for each theme.

Group composition

  • Seniors (65 and over): Tuesday, March 31, 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. | Recreation Center – Conference Room 212 (2nd floor)
  • Adults (30 to 64 years old): Wednesday, April 1, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. | Virtual – Teams
  • Youth (18 to 29 years old)*: Tuesday, March 31, 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. | Library – Zia Room

*Snacks will be provided in the evening for this group.

Each group will have 8 to 12 participants residing in Saint-Lambert. To promote diversity, the selection process will take into account:

  • Gender balance
  • The presence of families with or without children
  • Geographic distribution across all districts
  • The presence of only one person per family
  • Age diversity within the group

  • Gender (female/male/other)

  • Number and age of children (if applicable)

Your participation will help enrich the discussion and guide the City's actions to better meet the needs of Saint-Lambert residents!
