Message from the Mayor: 50th Anniversary of the Fêtes de Saint-Lambert, VIA Rail Station, Ongoing Construction Projects, and Much More!

Dear fellow residents,

Following this remarkable edition marking the 50th anniversary of the Fêtes de Saint-Lambert, I would like to extend my sincerest thanks to the City’s teams who helped make this event a true success.

Regarding the potential closure of the Saint-Lambert VIA Rail station, I am asking for your support by inviting you to sign the online petition launched by a citizens’ initiative. The more of us who take action, the better we can demonstrate to decision-makers our commitment to this essential service. I will meet again with VIA Rail representatives in mid-September to continue our efforts.

Ongoing construction projects are progressing well, and several will be completed in the coming weeks. In addition, the 20 new flower planters we have just received will be installed at various locations throughout the city in the coming days, helping to beautify and make our community safer.
