The Ville de Saint-Lambert is pleased to announce the appointment of Mr. Jonathan Tabarah as City Manager.

This appointment is the result of a rigorous selection process conducted with the support of the Union des municipalités du Québec (UMQ) to identify the most qualified candidate to lead the municipal administration and help the City achieve its priorities.

With nearly ten years of experience within the Longueuil metropolitan area, Mr. Tabarah has distinguished himself through his ability to advance complex initiatives, mobilize teams, and operate effectively in demanding institutional environments. His in-depth knowledge of metropolitan issues, municipal governance, and the financial realities of the metropolitan area is a significant asset for Saint-Lambert.

“During the last municipal election, citizens gave us a clear mandate: to modernize our administration, strengthen fiscal discipline in the management of public funds, and provide municipal services that meet their expectations. Jonathan Tabarah’s appointment is directly in line with this desire for change and our commitment to building a high-performing, agile, and results-oriented organization,” said Saint-Lambert Mayor Loïc Blancquaert.

“Thanks to his unique knowledge of the Longueuil metropolitan area, his experience in managing complex issues, and his recognized leadership, Jonathan possesses all the qualities needed to guide our administration through this new phase of its development, while respecting the distinct identity that is Saint-Lambert’s strength,” he added.

For his part, Mr. Tabarah said he was honored to join the municipal organization.

“My municipal career has been built within the Longueuil metropolitan area, and I am particularly pleased to continue this commitment in Saint-Lambert. I hope to put my experience to work for the prosperity, financial autonomy, and quality of life for which this exceptional city is renowned. ”

“Saint-Lambert has a strong identity, an engaged population, and high-caliber teams. My goal will be to ensure the stability needed to enable the organization to fully achieve the city council’s priorities and meet citizens’ expectations, in a spirit of collaboration, performance, and sound management of public resources,” concluded Mr. Tabarah.

The Ville of Saint-Lambert welcomes Mr. Tabarah, who will take office on June 22, 2026, and looks forward to drawing on his expertise to continue advancing its strategic priorities for the benefit of the entire community.
