Generators and space heaters
In the event of a power outage, be careful when using generators or space heaters:
- Set up your generator outside, away from the building, and make sure you have a carbon monoxide detector in the house.
- Use space heaters according to the manufacturer's instructions.
- Never use outdoor appliances indoors for heating or cooking (BBQs, camping stoves, patio heaters, etc.).

Monitoring the situation
Operations will continue on an ongoing basis and will be adapted in real time to weather conditions and priorities.
- De-icing agents will be spread continuously on streets and sidewalks to limit ice accumulation. We thank residents for leaving sufficient space between their vehicles and the curb to facilitate operations.
- The forestry team is also on high alert. Broken branches will be cleared as they are found. If you see branches piled up at the side of the road, leave them where they are and our teams will come and collect them later.
- To report a dangerous branch that has not been removed, please submit a request : Ville de Saint-Lambert | Reporting non-urgent issues.
For any situation that poses a threat to health and safety and requires immediate intervention, please call 911.
Thank you for your vigilance over the next few hours.
