Pollinator Week 2026: Special Activities

Pollinator Week will take place from June 22 to 28. To celebrate this week dedicated to pollinating insects and their vital role in our ecosystems, our Eco Brigade invites you to join us for two special activities:

1. Building and Installing an Insect Hotel | 10 a.m., Alexandra Park: Participants will learn more about pollinators, their diversity, roles, and habitats, while helping to build an insect hotel using natural materials. This activity is recommended for teens and adults.
   
2. Pollinator “Bingo” Scavenger Hunt | 2 p.m., Golf Park: After a brief introduction explaining what a pollinator is and its role, participants will receive a “bingo”-style card and set out to find pollinator-related items in the park. This activity is recommended for children ages 5 to 10.

No registration is required to participate in the activities. In case of rain, they will be canceled.
