Call for Submissions: Visual Arts and Photography Exhibitions
Published on 03 Aug 2026

The Ville de Saint-Lambert is calling for submissions from visual artists and photographers in Saint-Lambert for two exhibition projects.
Through this initiative, the City aims to stimulate the local arts scene, promote access to culture, and showcase the talent of Saint-Lambert’s artists while highlighting the richness of its cultural community.
Large-Format Photography Exhibition - 1 artist
The first project consists of an outdoor exhibition of seven large-format photographs displayed at the Coulée-Verte Park. This unique showcase will allow a photographer to present his work to the public in a peaceful setting conducive to appreciating the artworks.
Photographers aged 16 and older who reside in Saint-Lambert are invited to submit a series of photographs—whether figurative or abstract—that demonstrate an original and consistent artistic approach. The works may incorporate techniques such as photomontage, conceptual photography, or fantasy photography.
Submissions will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Aesthetic appeal and visual interest (content);
- Conceptual approach and originality;
- Artistic approach;
- Technical qualities (lighting, exposure, and image composition);
- Quality of the project in an outdoor setting intended for the general public.
The selected project will be the subject of an agreement with the City. The City will be responsible for the graphic design of the exhibition and the interpretive panel, the printing of the photographs on Coroplast, and the promotion of the exhibition. The panels will be installed at Coulée-Verte Park for a period of one year. A fee of $650 will be paid to the artist after the works are installed.
Visual Arts Exhibitions - 6 artists
The second project offers visual artists, across all disciplines, the opportunity to exhibit their works in the lobby of the Multi-purpose Center, located on Hooper Street.
Lasting eight weeks each, these exhibitions will allow the public to discover the diversity of local artistic creation while providing artists with a prime showcase.
Applications will be evaluated based on the following criteria:
- Quality of the application;
- Variety of artistic media;
- Concept behind the works.
The annual exhibition schedule will be set by the City. There is no exhibition fee. Works are consigned for direct sale by the artist, and the City will not charge any commission.

The application package must include the following:
- an up-to-date résumé including the artist’s full contact information;
