A great success for the migration of the City of Saint-Lambert's IT services

The migration of IT services, which took place between Friday, November 10 and Sunday, November 12, went very smoothly, thanks to the meticulous planning of the project team and their rapid intervention throughout the deployment. As a result, all services were up and running on Monday morning according to their regular schedule.

"We owe the success of this major operation to the excellent work of our IT team. I congratulate them and thank them for their dedication and professionalism. Our new network allows us to be more agile and efficient", specified Mélissa Mercure, Director of Administrative Services and immediate superior of the IT team.

"We can be proud of the results of this IT migration, which will have a positive impact on the quality of the service we offer citizens. By being independent at this level, we will be able to provide a more efficient service adapted to the needs of our community", added Mayor Pascale Mongrain.

Despite the success of the operation, a certain period of instability is possible over the next two weeks. The City would like to thank residents for their patience and understanding. This operation was necessary for the smooth running of our services.

Context
The tripartite agreement with the cities of Boucherville and Brossard will come to an end on December 31, 2023. For several months now, the City of Saint-Lambert has been forming its own information technology team, which has been busy planning this IT migration.
