Telephony migration of the Ville de Saint-Lambert: Soon, just one number to call!

After its IT services, it's now the turn of telephony to be migrated to Saint-Lambert. During this operation, which will take place between now and December 15, telephone lines may be inaccessible for a few hours. The Ville de Saint-Lambert therefore invites citizens to use e-mail during this period, or to call at another time if the line is unavailable.

Should it be necessary to communicate additional information on the situation, the City will do so on its website and Facebook page.

Centralized telephone counter

Following this, the City would like to take the opportunity to review its customer service operations by setting up a centralized telephone service. All citizens will then be invited to call the general line, whose current number, 450-672-4444, will be retained. An automated menu will greet them and direct them to the right resource. At all times, they will be able to speak to the receptionist, who will respond to citizens' most common requests and assist them in their needs with the municipality.

With this change, the Ville de Saint-Lambert wishes to simplify the process for citizens by having a single communication channel, but above all, to offer them faster, more efficient service with their municipality.

Context
The tripartite agreement with the cities of Boucherville and Brossard will come to an end on December 31, 2023. For several months now, the Ville de Saint-Lambert has been forming its own information technology team, which has been busy planning this IT migration.
