The Public Works department oversees the maintenance and sustainability of municipal assets and provides residents with essential services, which also means providing emergency services. This department also oversees the sustainable development of the municipality by ensuring the sound management of water, waste, green spaces, sustainable mobility, energy efficiency, and greenhouse gases.

Roadworks

The first area of activity of this department concerns road maintenance. It performs street sweeping, minor paving work, snow removal, signage maintenance, and pavement marking operations.

Buildings and Street Lighting

This department is responsible for maintaining municipal buildings and their electrical and mechanical systems and for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of the premises for users. It also oversees the maintenance of street lighting, including street lights and traffic lights, among other things.

Sewer and Waterworks

This department maintains and makes the necessary repairs to the water supply system and to sanitary and storm sewers to ensure that they are functioning efficiently.

Parks and Activities

This division is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness of parks and public spaces. It also maintains sports facilities, playing fields, and street furniture and performs the necessary repairs to ensure their safety and durability.
