Many activities await you this spring break!

During spring break, from March 4 to 8, the Ville de Saint-Lambert is offering a wide range of creative, sports and free activities for citizens! There is something for everyone!

For outdoor enthusiasts, the cross-country skiing, outdoor skating rinks and sliding hills at Seaway Park and the Saint-Lambert Golf Club are available, if weather permitting. A snowshoe lending service is also available at the Saint-Lambert Golf Club and the library. A great opportunity to do outdoor sports!

You can also go to the library, the arena or the pool to enjoy indoor activities!

Library and culture

• Séance de lecture facilitée avec un chien (in French) | Monday, March 4, at 2 p.m. : Lors de cette séance de zoo-lecture, votre enfant pourra vivre un moment enrichissant dans lequel il développera les habiletés reliées à la lecture.
• Video games tournament – Mario Kart | Tuesday, March 5, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.: Gear up and race your friends on the Mario Kart course on a Nintendo Switch console to find out who will win the trophy!
• Board games afternoon | Wednesday, March 6, from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.: Keen on discovering new board games that are both competitive and cooperative? Then come have fun at the library, where a host of different games await you! A facilitator will be on site to explain the game rules.
• Video games tournament – Just Dance | Thursday, March 7, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. : Get ready to move, dance and live an epic experience at the Just Dance tournament!
• Le périple de Laurette et Arlette (in French) | Friday, March 8, at 2 p.m. (multi-purpose centre, ticket required, $13): Les voyageuses du temps et du tempo Laurette et Arlette transportent les curieux dans un univers parallèle. Leur récit musical guide le spectateur dans ce Périple à la théâtralité débridée.
• Ciné-Famille – Élémentaire (in French) | Friday, March 8, at 3:30 p.m. : Dans la ville d'Élément City, les habitants sont constitués soit d'eau, de terre, de feu ou d'air. Chacun d’entre eux doit apprendre à développer des relations de bon voisinage avec les autres éléments, malgré leurs différences parfois.
• StationContes (in French) | Throughout March, during library opening hours: Invitez vos enfants à voyager dans un monde de contes magiques grâce aux StationContes interactives! Leur apparence attrayante et les boutons lumineux inciteront les jeunes lecteurs à participer activement aux histoires.

Looking for some family fun? Don't forget you can borrow board games and puzzles from the library! You're sure to have a few hours of fun!

Arena

From March 4 to 8, take advantage of an improved schedule at the arena:

Ice rental : Reservations starting February 12 via the leisure activities registration module.
Free field hockey: Helmets, full face protection and neck guards must be worn.

Indoor pool

The schedule for the family swims remains the same. However, on Sunday, March 10, from 2:30 to 4:55 p.m., there will be entertainment under the theme On se la coule douce.

In partnership with the City, the club de water-polo Saint-Lambert will be offering an introductory water polo activity for children aged 8 to 12 on Friday, March 8, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.. The activity is free.
