The Urban Planning, Permits and Inspection Department is asking for your collaboration

Many Lambert residents are taking advantage of the pandemic to upgrade their living environment and property. The ensuing renovation fever has resulted in a record number of requests for permits from the Urban Planning, Permits and Inspection Department.

Our team is mobilizing its efforts to respond to your requests with rigour and professionalism, but unfortunately there may be slight increases in wait times due to the surge in requests. The Planning, Permits and Inspection Department thanks you for your patience and understanding and is making every effort to ensure that requests are processed within a reasonable delay.

Thank you for being supportive during this busy time.

Planning to do some construction or renovation work on your property? Thinking about installing a swimming pool or building a shed in your yard? To undertake these or similar projects you need a permit or a certificate of authorization.

Avoid problems!
Make sure to obtain your permit or certificate of authorization before beginning any work on your home or your property, or even before buying your materials.

This section of the website presents the main activities that require a permit or a certificate of authorization and guides you through the procedures to follow to ensure your projects go off without a hitch.
