The city of Saint-Lambert has many parks, several of which offer both children and adults the opportunity to practice a variety of sports activities. From soccer to tennis or softball, etc., you’re sure to find a facility from the list below where you can enjoy your favourite sport. 

List of outdoor facilities

The city has some superb tennis courts, available by reservation at Préville (2 lit courts with a synthetic turf surface) and Alexandra (3 lit courts with an acrylic surface) parks. There is also a free tennis court at Saint-Denis Park (1 court with an asphalt surface).

Weather permitting, the courts open on April 9.

Costs and reservations

Access cards are required for the courts at Préville and Alexandra parks. These can be obtained from the Recreation, Sports and Community Services Office (600 Oak Avenue) at a cost of $105 for the season and $63 for a half season (starting August 1). You can also purchase your access card online through registration site for leisure activities. The access card will be mailed. Allow 10 working days for the reception.

Soccer fields

Get your kicks at one of Saint-Lambert’s many soccer fields, located at Alexandra, Seaway, Brixton, Dulwich, Houde, Préville, and Union parks!

Softball fields

There are two softball fields, located at Seaway and Saint-Charles parks.

Basketball courts

You’ll find three basketball courts in Saint-Lambert, at Dulwich, Houde, and Préville parks.

Petanque courts

There are three petanque courts in Saint-Lambert, at Préville, Dulwich, and Saint-Denis parks.

Permanent rink at Préville ParkPermanent rink

Whether on ice skates in winter or inline skates and running shoes from spring until fall, the permanent rink at Préville Park lets hockey enthusiasts enjoy their favourite sport all year long. The rink can be reserved for one hour for a friendly game or family party.


During the following hours, the ice rink is converted into a pickleball court and is reserved for the practice of this sport:

  • Thursday and Saturday, 9 a.m. to noon;
  • Monday and Wednesday, 6 pm to 9 pm.

Rink reservations are not required. Bring your balls and racquets or borrow those available on site! To know more about pickleball :

Contrary to what was announcedin the Recreation program of Summer 2019, the pickleball season will start on Monday, June 10 and end on Saturday, August 31. In addition, the court will not be available on Tuesdays.
