2021-01-21 | Reopening of the outdoor skating rinks
Thanks to Mother Nature’s cooperation over the last few days, the skating rinks have been reopened, except the one located at Houde Park.

Skating enthusiasts can enjoy their favourite sport both indoors, at the Eric Sharp arena, and outdoors during the winter months on one of our outdoor rinks.

Arena

COVID-19 | The arena will be closed from Saturday, January 9 until Monday, February 8, 2021
As indoor sports activities are no longer permitted, the arena will be closed from Saturday, January 9 until Monday, February 8, 2021.

From September to April, public skating is offered every week at the arena. The entrance is free.

You will have to reserve a skating time slot beforehand via the activities registration module before going to one of the arena (consult the online reservation procedure). No one will be admitted without a reservation even if there are places available. Time slots marked “Public figure skating” are reserved for unattended figure skaters only (able to skate without adult supervision). No free skaters will be admitted.

Please note that the arena seating and changing rooms will not be accessible. Whenever possible, it is recommended that you arrive wearing your skates, with skate guards. If necessary, however, you may use the players’ benches.

WHEN TO RESERVE?
Reservations can be made between 9 a.m. the day before up until one hour before the desired time slot. Given the limited number of places, we ask you to limit yourself to one time slot per day.

Cancelling a reservation

If you are unable to come to the pool after you have reserved a spot, we encourage you to cancel your reservation to free up the spot for someone else. To cancel a reservation, call 450 466-3890.

Before lacing up those skates, you are advised to check the coloured cards that are placed on the doors to the chalets or close to the rinks. These indicate the condition of the ice and make recommendations for the safe use of the rink. We ask that you please follow these recommendations to keep the ice surface in good condition for as long as possible.
