Eric Sharp arena and outdoor skating rinks
Skate indoors and out!

You are here
Skating enthusiasts can enjoy their favourite sport both indoors, at the Eric Sharp arena, and outdoors during the winter months on one of our outdoor rinks.
Arena
From September to April, public skating is offered every week at the arena to Saint-Lambert's résidents. The entrance is free.
COVID-19 | Instructions for arena users
To comply with the hygiene and distancing measures imposed by the public health authorities, users who come to the arena will have to:
- wear a mask in the changing rooms, the hallways and the common areas of the recreation centre
- wear a mask during the activity (strongly recommended); it may be removed only if it causes significant discomfort, for a safety related issue, or if it does not provide significant protection
- If possible, participants are encouraged to arrive prepared to carry out their activity.

Outdoor skating rinks
As soon as the weather permits, outdoor rinks will be prepared in several of the city’s parks.
Information update | Outdoor rinks maintenance and chalets schedule
As in many sectors, the Ville de Saint-Lambert is experiencing a shortage of personnel due to COVID-19. It is unfortunately unable to maintain its outdoor rinks as frequently as usual. It is therefore possible that the rink you go to has not yet been cleared of snow. We suggest you bring a shovel with you just in case; you’ll get a double-dose of physical activity by skating while shovelling!
Chalets schedule
Also owing to staff shortages, we cannot guarantee that the chalets will be open according to their regular schedule. You can still enjoy skating on the rinks, but you will have to change into your skates outside.
Have a great skate!
