Report on the Disuse of Saint-Lambert City Hall
The Ville de Saint-Lambert has commissioned the firm Beaupré Michaud et Associés to provide a current assessment of the building, which has been vacant since 2022 due to health and safety issues and mold, conduct a critical analysis of previously completed condition surveys, and provide an objective recommendation on the feasibility of renovation or complete reconstruction.
The mandate covers the following services:
- A technical inspection of the building to assess its current state of disrepair, specifically documenting the areas affected by unsanitary conditions and major deterioration.
- Analysis of previously conducted studies (before and after 2022) to synthesize their findings, identify recent developments or worsening conditions, and inventory which recommendations remain relevant or are now outdated.
- Conducting exploratory openings to confirm certain observations.
- The production of a comprehensive report including a visual (photos) and written summary of the building’s condition, a synthesis of existing studies, our professional assessment, and explicit recommendations.
The firm delivered its report in March 2026.
