Requests for minor exemption: 277 De Mortlake Avenue

Friday 23 April 2021

PUBLIC NOTICE is hereby given that the municipal Council of the Ville de Saint-Lambert will rule on the request for minor exemption from the Urban Planning by-laws, for the property mentioned below, during the regular meeting to be held on Monday, May 17, 2021 from 7:30 p.m. by videoconference, in accordance with article 145.6 of the Act respecting land use planning and development and with Decree 1020-2020 concerning the ordinance of measures to protect the health of the population in the situation of a COVID-19 pandemic, as amended by Order number 2020-074 of the Minister of Health and Social Services dated October 2, 2020.

277 MORTLAKE AVENUE

Nature of the request

A minor exemption is necessary in order to reduce the right lateral margin to 1.14 meter, while the specifications grid for zone RA-4 of Zoning by-law number 2008-43 stipulates that the minimum lateral margin is 1.20 meter to allow the construction of a new volume above the existing garage.

The existing garage benefits from an acquired right in terms of its location in relation to the right side margin. For technical questions, the owners want the new volume proposed upstairs to be aligned with the right side wall of the existing garage.

In accordance with Decree 1020-2020 concerning the ordinance of measures to protect the health of the population in the situation of a COVID-19 pandemic, as amended by Order number 2020-074 of the Minister of Health and Social Services dated October 2, 2020, this request for minor derogation is subject to a written consultation.

Consequently, all interested parties are invited to send their comments regarding this request in writing to the City Clerk by May 10, 2021 at 4:30 p.m. to:
