Request for a minor exemption

Notice is hereby given that a request for a minor exemption concerning the following property has been submitted to the Saint-Lambert Municipal Council:

  • 400 Sir-Wilfrid-Laurier Boulevard

The project to replace existing wall signs requires a minor exemption from Zoning by-law 2008-43, in order to allow:

  • That two signs displaying drive-through restaurant menus, on the property where the business is located, have an area of 1.85 m2, whereas article 8.1.7 paragraph d) stipulates that the maximum area of the sign must not exceed 1.5 m2;
  • That four signs displaying drive-through restaurant menus, on the property where the business is located, be 2.11 metres high, whereas article 8.1.7 paragraph d) stipulates that the height of the sign must not exceed 2.0 metres;
  • That four signs with electronic bulletin boards be permitted, whereas article 8.1.8 paragraph i) stipulates that animated, interchangeable or modifiable signs, including electronic bulletin boards, are prohibited throughout the territory of the city of Saint-Lambert.

The Ville de Saint-Lambert Municipal Council will rule on the said request at its regular sitting to be held at 7:30 p.m. on October 22, 2019 at 55 Argyle Avenue, Saint-Lambert. All interested parties could make their views known to the Council at this meeting.
