Coming into force of the by-law number 2019-122-3
Public notice is hereby given that at the regular sitting of the Ville de Saint-Lambert Municipal Council, held on March 18, 2019, the following by-law was adopted:
- By-law amending the By-law concerning the delegation to public servants and employees of the power to authorize expenditures and to enter into contracts in the name of the City (2019-122-3) [translation]
The purpose of this by-law is to amend the By-law concerning the delegation to public servants and employees of the power to authorize expenditures and to enter into contracts in the name of the City (2014-122) [translation] to:
- harmonize the threshold for authorizing expenditures and consequently entering into contracts on behalf of the City delegated to the City Manager with that of the rule on issuing calls for tenders by invitation set out in the by-law on contract management;
- to harmonize it with the decision taken by Council on December 3, 2018 to abolish the position of Head of the Recreation, Sports and Community Services division.
This by-law comes into force on the day of its publication and may be consulted at the City Clerk’s Office, located at 55 Argyle Avenue in Saint-Lambert, from Monday to Thursday, from 8:30 a.m. to noon and from 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. and on Friday, from 8:30 to noon or on the City’s website at: www.saint-lambert.ca.
