Public notice is hereby given that the municipal Council of the Ville de Saint-Lambert will give a decision on the application for a minor exemption from Planning by-laws, for the property mentioned below, during the regular meeting to be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 7:30 p.m., at the Centre multifonctionnel, located at 81 Hooper in Saint-Lambert.

Nature of the application
The application for a minor exemption is submitted as part of an expansion project and aims to authorize four cladding materials including three on the front facade of the building as well as three cladding colors. Section 4.7 c) and h) of Zoning By-law 2008-43 authorizes only two materials on the front facade, a total of three for the whole building and only two colors of siding.
As part of this project, the volume of the expansion is in the rear section of the house and above the existing roof. Thus, from both an aesthetic and structural point of view, it is difficult to conceive of applying masonry in height, and this, for the sole purpose of ensuring continuity of materials. In addition, the original single-family house already displays two materials, a bevelled brick in Roman format as well as natural stone affixed to two vertical inserts.
