Public notice is hereby given that the municipal Council of the Ville de Saint-Lambert will give a decision on the application for a minor exemption from Planning by-laws, for the property mentioned below, during the regular meeting to be held on Monday, September 13, 2021 from 7:30 p.m., at the Centre multifonctionnel, located at 81 Hooper in Saint-Lambert.

Nature of the application

The application for a minor exemption is made as part of a basement expansion project and aims to authorize an encroachment in the rear setback in contravention of the requirement provided for in grid RA-12 of Appendix 3 of Zoning by-law 2008-43.

The table of specific provisions for zone RA-12 provides that a minimum setback of 9 meters must be respected in the back yard. The basement expansion project has a rear setback of 6.96 meters and would therefore encroach approximately 2.10 meters in the rear setback.

The expansion will emerge approximately 1.15 meters from the ground and a terrace will be set up on the roof of said expansion.
