Saint-Lambert flags will be lowered to half-mast in memory of the victims of COVID-19

Friday 5 March 2021

The City of Saint-Lambert will lower its flags to half-mast on Thursday, March 11, 2021, to mark the national day of remembrance in memory of the victims of COVID-19.

This symbolic gesture is intended to honour the victims of this pandemic, which has been ongoing for over a year now, and to show support for their loved ones at this difficult time. The City of Saint-Lambert extends its deepest sympathies to them.

On March 11, I invite all our community to remember those who lost their lives to COVID-19. Saint-Lambert was not spared by the pandemic, and I admire the resilience of the people of Saint-Lambert in the face of this ordeal, said Mayor Pierre Brodeur.

The City of Saint-Lambert encourages everyone to continue to follow the health measures in place so that, together, we can minimize the number of deaths and win the battle against this virus that changed our lives one year ago.
