Saint-Lambert flags lowered to half-mast following the tragic shooting in Nova Scotia
The City of Saint-Lambert has lowered its flags to half-mast following the tragic events in Nova Scotia which began late Saturday and ended on Sunday.
This symbolic gesture is intended to condemn this excessive and extreme act of violence and to show our solidarity with all the people of Nova Scotia affected by this horrific event. Despite the distance between our communities, we cannot help but be deeply saddened by such senseless violence.
At the request of Mayor Pierre Brodeur, to mark the exceptional nature of this event, the City’s flags will remain at half-mast until the pandemic is over and regular activities resume.
