Notice to parents: Registration for the City of Saint-Lambert’s day camps begins on May 23

Wednesday 13 May 2020

The City of Saint-Lambert is pleased to announce that it is preparing to open its summer day camps starting June 29, if the COVID-19 situation allows.

“We are very pleased to announce that we expect to be able to open our day camps this summer. In addition to motivating our municipal team, this service will favour a better work-family balance for our residents and allow youngsters to enjoy themselves in a safe environment adapted to their needs to get moving, have fun and socialize,” said Mayor Pierre Brodeur.

In order to respect the government’s hygiene and social distancing guidelines, some of the specialized camps that were planned had to be cancelled, since it was not possible to hold them in accordance with these requirements. All the scheduled outings have also been cancelled.

The City will nevertheless still be able to offer children a diverse and entertaining program this summer. Parents can consult the new version of the day camp brochure at

Please note that the decision to hold day camps will be conditional on the evolution of the COVID-19 situation and the government’s directives.

As required by the government, we will provide a pre-registration period for children whose parents are both considered to be essential services workers. They are therefore invited to contact the Culture and Recreation Office at 450 466-3890 or between May 19 and 21 to register their children.

To know if you are considered an essential worker as defined by the government, you can consult the following link:
