New street parking stickers in force starting June 1, 2019

Thursday 16 May 2019

The City of Saint-Lambert is preparing for the introduction of new parking stickers, which will involve, among other things, updating street signs. These stickers will be valid from June 1, 2019 to December 31, 2021 at a cost of $150 each.

To make it easier for residents to obtain their new stickers, the City of Saint-Lambert will hold a sticker sale blitz at the recreation centre on:

  • Saturday, May 25 between 9 a.m. and noon
  • Sunday, May 26 between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m.

To purchase their sticker (area R), residents will have to present:

  1. Completed application form (in French only)
  2. Driver’s licence of the owner
  3. Vehicle’s registration certificate
  4. Proof of residence, if the address on the driver’s licence is different

To purchase their sticker (area C), business owners or their representatives must present:

  1. Completed application form (in French only)
  2. Business permit
  3. Vehicle’s registration certificate (a copy will be accepted if the owner applies for a permit for his employee)
  4. Letter signed by the owner authorizing the person to represent them, if applicable

Residents will be able to pay in cash, by debit card or by cheque. Credit cards will not be accepted.

Residents who are unable to come on either of these two days will be able to obtain their sticker starting Monday, May 27 at the Finance Office at City Hall during office hours.

To allow for the transition to these new stickers, the Longueuil agglomeration Police Department has been informed of this measure, and residents will not receive any tickets for using their expired stickers until June 30, 2019, provided they respect street signs.
