Christmas baskets: The City of Saint-Lambert invites citizens to try a class in exchange for a donation
From November 26 to 30, the City of Saint-Lambert invites all citizens to donate a non-perishable food item in exchange for a class at the recreation centre. The food items collected will be used to make up Christmas baskets for disadvantaged families.
All those wanting to take a class need only show up for the one they choose from the following list and leave their donation with the instructor when they arrive. Places are limited and will be filled on a first come, first served basis. People already registered in the class have priority. For more information, citizens can call 450 466-3890 or write to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Even if they do not wish to take advantage of the free classes, all citizens are invited to generously donate by bringing food items with them when they visit the recreation centre or the library between November 26 to December 14. There will be a donation box on site.
A good cause!
The food items collected will be used to fill up baskets, which will be donated to a charity.
