Granting of a $1.2 million for the deployment of a centre de services intégrés en violence sexuelle en Montérégie

The Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Quebec, Mr. Simon Jolin-Barrette, was in Saint-Lambert yesterday to announce the granting of a $1.2 million grant to the organization La Traversée, which will improve support for victims of sexual violence as well as the hiring of psychotherapists and other interveners. This grant will also allow the development of the premises. This new center will simplify the process for victims of sexual violence.

The organization La Traversée will therefore become an integrated sexual violence service center in Montérégie thanks to the collaboration of CAVAC de la Montérégie and the Service de police de l'agglomération de Longueuil.
