Description of this stop on the circuit
After studying fine arts and acquiring several years of experience in graphic arts and illustration, in 2006 Annabelle Marquis opted to seize her passion with her full being. Today, her original compositions reflect a consummate self-assurance, vibrancy and brilliance, where composition and harmony are both source and goal.
Paint and collage flow together organically to tell a tale in paintings that are read more than observed, to the utter delight of the attentive beholder, who lets go, soothed by the movement and rhythm and reinvigorated by the joie de vivre hidden in her vivid colours. If Annabelle’s paintings captivate at first gaze, their beauty is all the greater when combined with the observer’s response.
