The history of single-crop farming reveals why it plays such an important role in our present dietary habits. The ongoing monetization of nature, food and labour allows food to be produced at low cost, regardless of the impact it has on the environment and the living conditions of farmers. We’ll explore the extent to which the current food system is out of whack and, more importantly, take a look at new food models that are revolutionizing the way we grow and raise our food, along with inspiring solutions to encourage a shift in the right direction.
