How to become a professional artist? Is it enough to have talent? To have the desire? To work relentlessly? In this short film by filmmaker Charles-William De Melo, the professional artist-painter Annabelle Marquis reveals the process behind her canvases, from which she has managed to make a living for over ten years now. The filmmaker shadowed the artist for more than a year with shoulder camera in tow, thus following the same existential questioning process as the artist.
