The Oktoberfest: A traditional German festival you won’t want to miss this fall!
The City of Saint-Lambert, in partnership with Christopher Kalec/ENGEL & VÖLKERS, is inviting residents to come one and all to the Oktoberfest, being held on Saturday, October 14 at 6 p.m. at the recreation centre.
Inspired by the popular German tradition, the Oktoberfest promises participants a festive evening of dance and Bavarian music accompanied by a delicious meal of sauerkraut and sausage. Beer and wine will be sold on site for thirsty guests during this evening folk festival, a sequel to the 2007 Oktoberfest that was organized during the City of Saint-Lambert’s 150th anniversary celebrations.
To join in the festivities, residents can buy tickets, at a cost of $30, at the reception desk of the recreation centre (600 Oak Avenue) during opening hours, or by calling 450 466-3890. This activity is for people ages 18 or over only.
All the evening’s proceeds will help fund the City of Saint-Lambert’s youth activities.
The City of Saint-Lambert extends its warmest thanks to the event’s main partner, Christopher Kalec, real estate broker with Engel & Völkers, for providing financial support.
